At COMPLEX CZECH we are convinced that thorough communication with clients and candidates is the key to providing high quality and qualified staff. Therefore, before selecting candidates, COMPLEX CZECH first prepares a form for the client to learn more about the company and its staffing requirements. Accreditation, recruitment process and budget are also discussed at this stage.
DMW stands for Department of Migrant Workers, a government agency that takes care of migrant workers (formerly POEA). DMW is an executive department created by the Philippine government to protect the rights and promote the welfare of Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families.
Employer accreditation is required of all employers worldwide who hire Filipino workers. The Department of Foreign Workers DMW (formerly known as POEA) requires it to ensure that there are actual jobs in the country of deployment. Moreover, under the POEA Rules and Regulations of 2016, Section 123, no employer may directly hire a Filipino worker to work abroad, hence the accreditation required for all employers.
Getting accredited for DMW is a crucial step to start recruiting in the Philippines. This involves submitting documents such as employment contract, recruitment agreement, power of attorney, employer ID number, among others …. These documents are sent to the Philippine Embassy in Prague where they are approved and then sent to the DMW office in the Philippines.
Once you have provided us with information about the qualifications you are looking for, we will identify candidates in our database who match your requirements. Our recruitment staff will then conduct an initial pre-interview to ensure that the qualifications match the requirements and match what is written on their submitted CVs. After the pre-qualification interview, resumes will be emailed to the client’s email address along with the worker’s documents (e.g. passport, certificates) for review.
Interviews can be conducted in person through our partner agency in Manila. Interviews can also be conducted virtually (Zoom, Google Teams). Our recruitment team will also be present and ready to assist the client and candidates during the interview process.
If you have already found the workers you are looking for, we can register them for you with the Office of Foreign Workers and DMW. You as the employer will need to go through accreditation. Once this is complete, we will contact the workers you wish to employ and start collecting their documents for processing by DMW.
From the beginning when we start the selection process until the arrival of the workers, the whole process takes about 3 to 5 months.
The minimum length of the employment contract must be 1 year, but we recommend a 2-year contract so that an employment card (work permit) can be issued for 2 years. After 2 years, you can apply to the Ministry of the Interior (Department of Asylum and Migration Policy) for a visa extension or you can contact us and we will be happy to help you with the extension process.
